How should the electromagnetic flowmeter be maintained?

1, for instrument for periodic visual inspection, inspection instrument surroundings, remove dirt, ensure no water and other substances, check whether the connection is good, check meter ever new strong electromagnetic field near equipment or have new wire across the instrument. If the measuring medium is easy to stain the electrode, or in the measuring tube wall, deposit, scale and should be cleaned regularly.

2, troubleshooting electromagnetic flowmeter launched after a period of time or normal was put into the instrument work found abnormal, should first check the flowmeter external circumstances, such as power supply are in good condition, whether the pipeline leaks or in a state of the full package, whether there is air bubbles inside the pipeline, signal cable is damaged, the converter output signal (i.e., after the instrument input circuit) is open. Remember to dismantle the flowmeter blindly.

3, a sensor test equipment: 500 m Ω insulation resistance tester, a multimeter.

Test steps:

(1) when the pipe is filled with medium, the resistance value between A, B and C should be measured with multimeter, and the resistance between a-c and b-c should be equal. If the difference is more than 1 times, it may be the leakage of the electrode, the condensation water adsorption in the outer wall of the tube or the junction box.

(2) under the condition of dry lining, use A - M Ω table test insulation resistance between C and B - C (should be greater than 200 M Ω). Use the multimeter to measure the resistance of the terminals A, B and the two electrodes in the tube. If the insulation resistance is very small, indicating the leakage of the electrode, the whole flow meter should be returned to the factory for repair. If insulation fell but still has more than 50 m Ω and steps of (1) test results is normal, may be measuring the outer wall of pipe be affected with damp be affected with damp, available hot air blower to dry inside the shell.

(3) the multimeter measure the resistance between one of the X, Y, if more than 200 Ω, the excitation coil and the lead wire may be open or poor contact. Remove terminal board inspection.

(4) check the insulation resistance between the X, Y, and C should be in more than 200 m Ω, if fell, shell internally with hot air drying processing. In actual operation, the decrease of the insulation of the coil will lead to the increase of the measurement error and the instability of the instrument output signal. (5) if there is a fault in the sensor, please contact the manufacturer of the electromagnetic flowmeter. The general site cannot be solved, and the factory needs to be repaired.

4, the converter inspection As the judge is converter fault, under the condition of external causes no problem, please contact electromagnetic flow meter manufacturer, manufacturer will generally take replacement of circuit board.
