Precautions before installation:

1. Before the instrument is installed, the process pipe should be purged to prevent the trapped iron magnetic material in the pipe to be attached to the instrument, affecting the performance of the instrument and even damaging the instrument. If unavoidable, magnetic filters should be installed at the entrance of the meter. The meter itself does not participate in the gas sweep before production, so as not to damage the instrument.

2. Before the instrument is installed in the process pipe, check whether it is damaged or not, and open the shell to remove the filling of the fixed pointer.

3, instrument installation forms can be divided into vertical and horizontal installation, if it is perpendicular to the type of installation, shall ensure that the instrument and plumb line at the center of the vertical Angle is less than 2 °; If it is a horizontal installation, shall ensure that the level of the instrument center line and the horizontal Angle is less than 2 °.

4, instrument of the upstream and downstream piping should be the same as the instrument of caliber, connecting flange or thread should be with the instrument flange and match, the gauge length of straight pipe upstream should guarantee is 5 times of nominal diameter, the downstream straight pipe length is greater than or equal to 250 mm.

5. Since the instrument is transmitted by magnetic coupling, in order to ensure the performance of the instrument, it is not allowed to have ferromagnetic material at least 10cm around.

6. The instrument for measuring gas is calibrated under certain pressure. If the gas is discharged directly into the atmosphere at the outlet of the instrument, it will produce pressure drop at the float and cause distortion of the data. If the condition is such, a valve should be installed in the outlet of the meter.

7. The instrument installed in the pipe shall not be affected by the stress. The inlet and outlet of the instrument shall have the proper piping support, which can make the instrument in the minimum stress state.

8. Be especially careful when installing PTFE (PTFE) linings. Because PTFE is deformed under pressure, the flange nut should not be screwed too tight.

9. The instrument with liquid crystal display should avoid direct sunlight display and reduce the life of LCD.

10. When measuring the low temperature medium, the clamping type should be selected.
